this weekend has already been totally draining…emotionally and physically.

last night, most of the staff from my campus went to this cabin up in the mountains. everyone ate way too much meat and ramien, drank ridiculous amounts of soju and maekju, and a few of us stayed up all night to watch the fog burn off of the lake at sunrise. we had philosophical conversations about nature while drinking orange juice from a huge bottle and eating octopus flavored snacks. and we ended the night with a morning nap on the heated floor in our huge piles of blankets and pillows.

now it’s saturday evening, and i think that i could sleep straight through until monday morning. but alas, i am heading out for dinner with michael. just pushing through the fatigue. i feel like i am becoming more korean every day.
